About Me
I have over 30 years of experience as a clinician working with a varied population.
I began my career with my attending Columbia University School of Social Work and receiving my M.S.S.W. in 1980. My first placement was in the foster care system working with children and their families. I then went on to treat individuals, couples, families and groups at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, in which I also attended a child training program.
Over the course of my work I have consulted at a variety of nurseries and public schools helping students and their families, worked at mental health agencies performing psychotherapy with individuals, couples and groups, educated and supervised social workers who were pursuing their clinical license, and lectured about various models of the mind. I received training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Masterson Institute and have been in private practice for 25 years.
